A small % (< 2%) of our formulations contain (non-toxic) synthetic
ingredients that are proven to have no harmful effects on hair or scalp but are
needed to help optimize the formula.
As salon professionals, performance is a big deal, so when a clean
ingredient cannot be sourced, we sometimes will take a small amount of
synthetic ingredients to optimize the formulation. Our chemists are actively
seeking alternatives.
